Prescott wins an amazing first award for our popular new range of craft ales, Super 6™.
Prescott won a credible first accolade in the Premium Bitters & Pale Ales category at the SIBA 2017 Wales and West Regional Awards, held at Ludlow Castle in South Shropshire. Super 6 was judged as a bold and brash 4.5% Session IPA, using hops such as Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe and Ekuanot to create a memorable and balanced craft ale.
The Bronze award was a great achievement for our craft ale range which was launched just 2 years ago. Super 6 has really allowed us to explore exciting new one-off brews using many intense and flavoursome new world hops and malt combinations, achieving a range of beers that is simply “packed with flavour”. Brewery Owner Jo McWattie was delighted to have won the award commenting that it has really injected a positive energy into the brewery developing the Super 6 range, where we have tasked Head Brewer James Bubb to get hands-on creating some of the most amazing new craft ales on the market.
